“Hawthorn Park” is located in the beautiful suburb of Hawthorn East, Melbourne. This incredible building was thoughtfully designed to encourage quite recreation and reflective moments within the 2000m2 complex. Hawthorn Park boasts the only glass bottom, skypool in Melbourne.
Within the building, there are 6 lobbies/common areas that I was asked to style. My client asked for a luxurious yet casual look, which is exactly what I provided.
I had 2 weeks to shop, deliver and style these spaces, just in time for open inspections. The lobbies were completely empty so I had to buy everything from cushions to rugs to ornaments etc. There was a concern around items getting stollen, so I had to keep this in mind for the items I put directly on display. I used fake designer books instead of real books, to give the visual idea of luxury without the price tag! Luxurious styling doesn’t have to be expensive!
My client was so impressed with the design provided that he asked me to furnish and style two showroom apartments within the building!
